The Bluetongue Restricted Zone will be extended to cover all of England from 1 July 2025

From 1 July 2025 the Restricted Zone (RZ) will be extended to cover all of England. From this date you can move animals within England without a specific bluetongue licence or pre-movement testing.

The guidance on animal moves to Scotland and Wales must still be followed. See more information on GOV.UK, GOV.SCOT and GOV.WALES.
